National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS exists to support Australians under the age of 65 living with a disability.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with a disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs or volunteering in their community and an improved quality of life. The NDIS also connects any person with a disability to services in their community.

Just Walking is an approved NDIS provider for the following Registration Groups;

0135. Customised Prosthetics
0112. Assistive Equipment for Recreation
0103. Assistive products for personal care and safety.

NDIS Medical Range

Our medical shoes are DVA and NDIS approved, diabetic friendly, and can be customised for common and complex foot issues. Many of our shoes also cater to various foot conditions such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, swollen feet, heels spurs and arthritis.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)

Just Walking is a registered Department of Veteran Affairs provider (DVA). Veterans will require a prescription from a podiatrist indicating the clinical need for medical footwear and/or orthotics. The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) has a list of approved footwear for veterans.
